I am Sun from China who speaks little English. When I came to Singapore, I understood that Singapore uses English as an official language for communication. With this, I was eager to learn English, especially in speaking. I personally searched a language school and asked my friends in Singapore to look for me a high quality language school. Finally, I found ASTA School of Business and Technology located at Block 131 Jurong Gateway Road and decided to study here. I am glad that I made this decision because of its quality of teaching.

On my first day at school, I was shocked because I could not understand the English lesson even a single sentence. I didn’t know what to do but I had the interest to learn English, and it was really a difficult situation for me. I began to lose hope. My English teacher, Mr. Jerson Halis and other school teachers patiently told me not to lose my hope. Mr. Jerson taught me how to practice, use, learn and revise English exercises with confidence. He told me that I would learn English with patience and practice.

Furthermore, my teacher, Mr. Jerson took care of me. He always asked me questions and gave me many chances to practice. He always helped and encouraged me to practice English and interact to different foreign students in pair and group activities in our English class. During that time, my confidence and interest in English were improved. Now, I would like to say that if you wanted to learn English, you must study hard, and listen attentively and look for opportunities to practice more in English. If you did this, you would be lucky like me to achieve what we desire for.

Finally, I would like to thank my school, ASTA School of Business & Technology and to all teachers especially my English teacher Mr. Jerson Halis. I wish all the best for your school, and hope that your success continues in attracting more students from all over the world!
